    Hi,
I would like to ask you guys if somebody could help me a bit with setting up remote desktop access.

However I've followed this guide: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Windows_2003_Terminal_Services_Part1.html it still isnt able to connect to servers remote desktop even I've got public IP and router is set to accept incoming connection on required port (3389) since it was everything working before there server reinstallation. Anyway Im not able to access the Firewalls setting because of ipnat.sys..

Please if somebody could help me a bit with this I would really appreciate it!

    Kindly thank you for replies.

    Hi Arie,

Sorry for late reply, was quite busy however I was googling a bit and found this: http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=214801 .

Anyway my question is: could be caused to do not connect to the server remotely because of Windows Firewall, since the system should automatically configure firewall to accept all incoming connections to remote desktop, shouldn't it ?

Anyway Im not on the server right now and I cant connect remotely so if there are some other suggestions I should may try, I would really appreciate your ideas.

    Kindly thanks,

    Tom.

    Please provide more information:

what happens when you try to RDP into the server?
Do you get any error message? if yes, what, please give the exact error
What is the server OS and service pack level
    What is the client OS
From the client can you open up an administrative command prompt and type in telnet serverip 3389
if port 3389 is listening you should see a blank command prompt with a blinking cursor
if yiu don't see that then the server is not listening on 3389 port (default port fot RDP)

    Thanks,

    Madhurjya
