I have the latest version of DriveImage for XP Since it only works from DOS, I have created a recovery boot disk as instructed.

However, when I boot that way, the system will not see my any of my other drives other than A: so I cannot create an image anywhere

What do you mean... it (Drive Image) only works from DOS?

While you're in XP, can you run a Restore with DI?

When you run DI from XP, to either create an image file or when restoring one, it normally boots itself to DOS, performs its actions and then reboots to XP.

If you still have a Win 98 boot disk, try creating the DI rescue disks, then boot to DOS using the Win 98 floppy and when you get to the A:\ put in the DI rescue disk #2 and type in PQDI and hit Enter.

DI 2002 should then load normally and you should see all your drives and partitions.:)
