Resolved missing windowsroot>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

XP- dang laptop has presented me with windowsroot>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe and to reinstall. When I purchased this thing it only had backup cd's. I have those but when I do a search on them I can not seem to locate what is needed. Any suggtions?

Hi dolphin. Take a look here, NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing or corrupt.

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.
