I received an e_mail attacment in "pps" format. I have MS Power Point Viewer. but when I try opening the attachment computer asks to install a disk in drive Q which does not exist and computer locks up.Other pps docs work fine........niebe

Sounds like a problem with the .pps file - if you save it to the hard drive does it then play normally?

I have moved it to a seperate folder on C drives but have the same results. I will have the sender resend it and try that. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for your reply. I have had the doc resent after removing current file. It still did not function. Yhen I removed and reinstalled Power Point Reader 2007 and still does not work. I believe now that there is a glitch in the program. I think I will give up on it. All other pps files work very well. Thanks again. Niebe
