I did a search for "double+folders" and did not find anything. Here is my dilemma.

When I go Start/Documents the Documents folder opens and I see all my sub-folders. No problem there.

But, in the tree to the left I see two (2) folders named Documents. The top one in the hierarchy has the sub-folders in it, and the bottom on is empty.

However, if I right click and delete the second folder, it sends all of my documents to the Recycle bin!

This started showing up earlier in the week after I installed a suite of Garmin software and the drivers to manage a GPS. I need my mapping and device software so if it comes down to it I guess I can adjust and live with it, but there has to be a fix.

How can I get rid of that second folder in the view?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rick

When you delete the 2nd folder is the first one empty? Have you tired "cutting" them out of the recycle bin and pasting them to the 1st folder?
