ntldr is missing xp

    i was recently doing a clean up with avanquest system suite 10 and when i was done i had to reeboot!! After rebooting a message came up saying ntldr is missing press ctrl alt delete!!! well this is a used computer that my mom bought and we dont have the window xp disk!! I tried to run a boot up cd that i copied called fixntldriso.zip and i cant get it to do anything can someone please help i am a beginner and dont really have the money to buy a new disk to fix my moms computer!!! I would like to say thanks in advance and would appreciate any help!! My computer is a dell dimensios 4100 and i have windows xp!!!! Thank you,

    Thanks for getting back to me so quick, but that is actually the first site i went into when i was investigating the problem! I tried everything on there but to no avail!! The only thing i havent done that he suggested was to use the windows disk that i dont have or cant afford at the time!! I guess ill just have to wait till i can afford it unless anyone can come up with other possible solutions!! But i do thank you for what you have suggested so far!!!

    hi jesse,
    I got the same problem you just got and I still did not resolve mine yet, trying to see if thier is a way to fix this problem without buying a WINDOWS XP disc which I can't afford neither!!
    keep in touch if ever you find a solution to the problem?
