Been doing electronics since age 11 fixing TVs for my uncle. At 18 was drafted, but I joined the Navy andwas on a ship for 4 1/2 years as ETN2. ..got out and started into mainframe computers around 1978 and also networks. Also attended some college for EE. Got hit by a car..busted leg...and brought up to my parents home to recover. 1981 Worked on Digital Equipment Computers DEC as a alpha and beta site...actually handled first versions of their mid range computers. Learned RSX-11m and 11m+ until 1984. Went to college and finally got my EE (Hardware Circuit boards). Contracted for Army in new Jersey. Design and built PCBs for Countermeasures. Company moved me to Virginia where I pretty much supported and rebuilt the network for entire company while designing/building a test avionics system for the MH-53E helecopter. Built many other PCbs some for NASA. ALl Engineers were laid off (????). Now working for US Postal Service as senior Network Engineer for al Mail Processing Networks. I set the standards and do the intial designs. I stay on top of Microsoft by using Technet. Have a redundant AD at house using 2008 R2 and all windows 7 PCs under a domain. All PCs are under UPS.
