We have a large domain in our company the updates are pushed by the IT guys up in NY we have an update server here in the South Florida office. When NY pushes out these updates some of them fail. How can I find out what updates failed on the machines? They might push out lets say 5 updates and 3 might install however 2 may fail how can I find out what 2 failed? When I get the list from NY on machines that have failed they give me the host name and how many updates failed but not which ones have failed. They are telling me it can't be done and I've got a hard time believing that.

    Thanks,
    Jr.

go to your office wsus server and go to start>programme>administrative tools>windows software update services it will open the interface where u can see the number of patches it has received from your NY office wsus server then go to the machines which have not receieved few patches in those machines go to start>run>appwiz.cpl press enter and compare installed patches vs published patches you may come to know which are those patches which is not installted.
