Resolved Trouble installing adobe reader

    I tried to install adobe reader 9.3 on vista and got the error code 1606 can't access network. I remember getting this error before, during an installtion , and the conflict was microsoft office. However, microsoft Office is not installed on this pc.

    I didn't have microsoft office installed, however, i just upgrade to vista and remembered that xp may have had Office installed. I went to C: drive\windows old,and ow and behold I found office, deleted it, and reinstalled adobe,. I'll reinstall office afterwards.
