Hi. I recently installed two new programs, using the Admin account with privileges. One of them shows up only when I'm logged in as Admin; when using a limited acount it's not visible, and I need to locate it in Explorer and double-click the *.exe file to launch it. The other doesn't show up on the menu at all, even when logged in as Admin.

I'm not talking about the Start Menu here - I know how to add a program to that. But I don't use them that often to justify adding them to Start Menu, I just want them to show up in the "All programs" menu. And I want them to show up on the "All programs" menu for all user accounts, privileged or limited.

(In the old (W98) days, you could find a folder called "Menu" or similar and just add a shortcut to that, but I can't seem to find anything resembling that under XP.)

    Grateful for any advice.

    Put shortcuts in c:\documents & settings\all users\start menu\programs.
