Can you check manually, if those files exist?
Are those files important to you, or you don't care about them?

I know that those files were created by the virus. But whenever AVG deletes them they just re-appear.

I manually deleted all the files that were tagged as viruses.

I ran a scan on the parent folder and it returned no instances of viruses.

I will now re-start the system in safe mode and do a complete scan using AVG.

Thanks for your assistance so far.

    You're welcome :)
Scan in normal, not safe mode.

    When you're done...

    1. Download Temp File Cleaner (TFC)
Double click on TFC.exe to run the program.
Click on Start button to begin cleaning process.
TFC will close all running programs, and it may ask you to restart computer.

    2. Go to Kaspersky website and perform an online antivirus scan.

    1. Disable your active antivirus program.
    2. Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
    3. It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
    4. When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
    5. Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button:

    • Spyware, Adware, Dialers, and other potentially dangerous programs
      [*] Archives
      [*] Mail databases
    6. Click on My Computer under Scan.
    7. Once the scan is complete, it will display the results. Click on View Scan Report.
    8. You will see a list of infected items there. Click on Save Report As....
    9. Save this report to a convenient place. Change the Files of type to Text file (.txt) before clicking on the Save button. Then post it here.

Post fresh HijackThis log as well.

    Unable to run Kaspersky

I am getting the following error message:
"Launch of the java application is interrupted. Please establish an uninterrupted internet connection for work with this program ".

I have done the following to rectify the issue above:
    • Un-installed AVG
    • Un-installed Adware
    • Uninstalled Spybot
    • Un-installed SuperAntiSpyware
    • Started Internet Explorer as Administrator

    That's good news :)

    Try this instead of Kaspersky...

Please run a free online scan with the ESET Online Scanner

    • Disable your antivirus program
    • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use
    • Click Start
    • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
    • Check Scan archives
    • Click Start
    • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
    • When the scan completes, push List of found threats
    • Push Export to text file , and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.

Post fresh HJT log as well.

    Kaspersky - Vista issue

I believe the issue with the Kaspersky on-line scan is due to the Vista operating syste.

I have successfully got the download from Kaspersky to start on a Windows XP system.

What happened to AVG? Did you forget to re-enable it?

    =================================================================

Disable Windows Defender, as it'll interfere with cleaning process:
    - Open Windows Defender by clicking the Start, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Defender.
    - Click Tools
    then...

    ++ Windows XP:
    - Click General Settings
    - Scroll down to Real Time Protection Options
    - Uncheck Turn on Real Time Protection
    - After you uncheck this, click on the Save button
    - Close Windows Defender

    ++ Windows Vista:
    - Click Options
    - Under Administrator options, clear the Use Windows Defender check box, and then click Save.

Enable Windows Defender, when all cleaning is done.

    =============================================================

Print this post out, since you won't have an access to it, at some point.

    1. Open HijackThis.

    2. Close all windows, except for HijackThis.

    3. Put checkmarks next to the following HijackThis entries:

    O2 - BHO: Java(tm) Plug-In 2 SSV Helper - {DBC80044-A445-435b-BC74-9C25C1C588A9} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jp2ssv.dll
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {CCC7A320-B3CA-4199-B1A6-9F516DD69829} - (no file)
    O4 - Global Startup: Vongo Tray.lnk = ?

    4. You should also checkmark following entries (these are unnecessary startups; no actual programs will be removed):

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Health Check Scheduler] c:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Health Check\HPHC_Scheduler.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe "
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvMediaCenter] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Windows\system32\NvMcTray.dll,NvTaskbarInit
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ReimageFTP] C:\Program Files\Reimage\Reimage Repair\ReiFTPWatchDog.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WindowsWelcomeCenter] rundll32.exe oobefldr.dll,ShowWelcomeCenter
    O4 - Global Startup: HP Digital Imaging Monitor.lnk = C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe

    5. Click on Fix checked button.

    6. Restart computer.

    7. Post new HijackThis log.
