Hello from Pennsylvania, USA, another retired PC user

Like other retired people I keep busier than when I was working full time. I have more than one interest, I worked in engineering for years, much of it before computers became commonplace. I still like to design things, mostly model aircraft, but other items also. I am into remodeling of a couple of homes. The internet is a goldmine to research for information we didn't have when I had a better memory. As you know a good memory helps with PCs and operating systems, at 70 sometimes it takes me a while to find or remember a solution, but forums like this are great for us to help each other. If you get away from PCs for even a little while, you get behind, so I am registering.
