When I wish to capture a screen, I usually press "STAMP" key then open mspaint
and "Ctrl+v ". It works well. But, if I try to do the same with another screen afterwards, mspaint does not open. I have to restart the session to do it again.
I suspect paint is still running in background when I try to open it a second time but it doesn't show anywhere. How can I overcome this? Thanks a lot, Paolo.

    Demaag,

When you refer to the "STAMP" key are you pressing Shift + Print Screen ?

One thing I notice is that Paint doesn't work using multiple windows, maybe that's the reason it won't "open" a second time.

Try using Alt+Tab and see if Paint is still open.

Try making a hot key (keyboard shortcut) for the Paint program (or maybe put it in the Quick Launch bar).

Consider getting the free program PrintKey 2000 and you'll be amazed at what you're missing. It'll solve your present problem and much more.

Thanks to everybody. Problem solved. I used to press "printscreen" without shift. Paolo
