My USB drive is not shown in "My Computer" but it is recognised as the drive is listed in Disk Management.
How can I see, and use, my USB drive from "My Computer "?

Is there any info on drive?

You might need to format it to get it to show.

  3. to hide this advert.

    1. If it’s new, it needs partitioning and formatting.

    2. If it has data on it, firstly, go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Folder Options > View Tab and make sure there is not a tick in’ Hide empty drives in the Computer folder‘ and further down, confirm that there is a tick in ‘Show drive letters’.

Now, right-click Computer > Manage > Storage > Disk Management, then right-click on the drive that is 'hidden' or ‘unallocated‘ > Change Drive Letter/Paths... > select a letter from nearer the end of the alphabet > OK and the disk should show in Computer. Try another letter if it stays hidden.
