Resolved Unwanted Info Bar at Top of IE 8

An unwanted information bar has suddenly appeared at the top of IE 8. I How can I delete it? I have removed all new software installations with no solution.

 

What is it? Have you looked in Add or Remove programs for it and uninstalled it? You can also right click on a blank space and see if it is there and take the check off it and it should not show. It will still be on your PC till you remove it.

 

In Internet Explorer, click on View, go to Toolbars and see if there's something on that list that may be related to the unwanted bar. If so, unchecked it may hide the bar but won't eliminate it. However, the name might help in locating someting in Add/Remove Programs that's responsible for the bar so you can remove it. (If the Menu Bar with "View" isn't visible, press one of the Alt keys)

 

Bar at top of IE 8

It is a bar, across the top of IE 8, similar to the regular info bar, but does nothing when right or left clicked. It even has the three boxes which indicate Max, Min, and Delete, but are not active. I have made an effort with all IE 8 tools and other devices to learn if it is something associated with IE 8..

 

Thank you Miz. I have tried all the normal fixes. Still there.
