Bookmarks functionality is gone

    The 'Bookmarks' function stopped working. My bookmarks are all gone and the Add/Edit/Import selections are greyed out. If I go to a site and select Bookmarks, I can't even Add it, because the option is greyed out.
    Note: This is the Bookmarks function on the top line of the browser (ATT Yahoo) where it has the File/Edit/View/Bookmarks/Sidebar/Tabs/SignIn/Tools/Help functions.
    Any ideas what might happened or how to get it back?

    Bookmark functionality is gone

    I'm using ATT Yahoo browser.

    I still have the bookmark functionality on IE - version 8.
    But it's gone from my default Yahoo browser.
