Win 7 Permissions

    I bought a used Win 7 HP machine with win 7 instralled. I can't delete files I get a message "need permission for Sallys Computer" One of the users was Sallys Computer. I added Owner with full Admin rights but can't delete files? My alows are the same as the Administrator. Thank you

    Thank you. Too complicated for me who has no expierence with win 7. I will do a fresh install. BTW what I did was clone the original disk to a new one so I would have the original as a backup. Working on the clone so reinstall won't hurt the original. Thank you.

    Hi buzzmag. Just so you know the link that I provided also includes a method to automatically take ownership of a file or folder by using a registry patch.
