Shortly after installing almost any programs to a clean install, I lose the options in save as and I only have BMP as a choice. How can I include Jpeg and Gif as options?

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Your question doesn't make much sense....

I going to guess that you're haing problems with MS Paint when saving files????? If so, if you wll clear your Temp Internet Files the ability to save as jpeg should come back to MS Paint.

I'm mostly interested in saving animated gif's from a web page. I used to be able to select save picture as "Gif" and it would save it as an animated gif.

Can you post a link to a sample of something you'd like to save?

The MVP icon in my signature for example will only save as BMP or PNG since it isn't animated...
