I installed windows 7 and had no problems with it untill after a windows update which started to show updates in Russian fonts the update was

    Installation date: ‎24/‎11/‎2009 20:35

    Installation status: Successful

    Update type: Important

I went to control panel > region and language but there was nothing referring to Russian, I checked all tabs but nothing, I tried to uninstall a language but the only language I have is English, although it is something I can live with, it still bothers me and wish to fix it, so if there is somebody with any help I will appriciate it, thanks in advance,

    Mario,

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Open Regional and Language Options
Then click on Advanced and uncheck the languages you don't want.

You can also remove the Russion Font by
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Double Click on the Fonts Folder.
Select the Russion Font and Right click and then select Delete and press Yes or OK to any questions that pop up.
