When I have ICS enabled I cannot veiw any pages on the internet on the host or client. The green computers are in the taskbar but not pages ever come up until I disable ICS.

What is the problem and how do I fix it?

ICS is working. But only when my firewall is down. When I click on a link it blocks the place of the link from accessing my computer and I cannot view the page.

I have zone alarm. How do I configure it to be compatable with ICS?

Seems to me that you need to put both of your PC's into Zone Alarm's Trusted Zone so try this :

Go to Help in Zone Alarm - Networking for overview and how to.

On each PC go to the Command Prompt and type ipconfig /all

NB both PC's should be booted up and on the network

This should tell you the IP address of the PC - actually that of the NICs.

I don't use ICS as one of my 2 networked PC's is a laptop with it's own Internet connection, but it solved the problem of the PC's not seeing each other - which could be your problem ?

There is a setting in Zonealarm where alpplications are listed.
make sure that allow servers is checked or they can't answer back from the site you access with your browser.
also if security is set past medium it blocks servers.

Also there is a checkbox on the front of the window in zonealarm that says block servers, uncheck that.
