    Hello tο everybody.

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-906, model no. PSAA9E-OR201SGE , Intel Core ( TM)2 CPU, T5600@1,83 GHz, 987 MHz, 1,oo GB RAM.

It has Windows XP Service Pack 2 .

I have a problem starting Windows for a long time.
When I start the laptop, I have in the beginning a screen with the message from Toshiba, I think it is the checking program- Toshiba in touch with tomorrow and the option F2 and F12.

After that the logo of Windows appears but the computer freezes.
I have to stop the computer from the stop button. Usually, after 2-3 times the windows boots.

I've tried till now : chkdsk, reinstall again from the recover product CD I have, repair registry.
    I still have the problem.

Can you help me to solve the problem? I will appreciate any suggestion

    here is my suggestions:
ram test (memtest << free download)
    video card error

since its a laptop guess you need to send it to their service center for your warranty.

I have found the program memtest , and I will run to see.

The thing is now when I start the computer I have a radom letters and the message :
    STOP : OXOOOOOO7E(OXCOOOOOO5, OX80707EB4, OXF7A4DAEO, OXF4A4D7DC)

The second time , after shut down from the stop button I have other message:
    STOP : OXOOOOOOC5(OXOOOOOOO4, OXOOOOOOO2, OXOOOOOOO1, OX805515A1)

After that, the third time the computer started

The thing is my computer has no warranty.

    Hi again,
The last few days I've been searching for a solution. I can't figure out what is going on with my laptop.
This is what I've tried :
1.run MemTest for Ram - passed whithout errors
    2. run Prime95 for CPU - 12 hours run -passed whitout errors
    3. I've made update chipset motherboard Intel
    4. I uninstalled and after that installed again the update drive for NVIDIA

No one of these solved my problem. Still my computer only on cold start up gives me usually these two error codes ( because I need every time, like a rule to shut down and open again twice for Windows to start):
    STOP : oxoooooo8E
    STOP : 0xoooooo7E
Today I had another : NMI : Parity Check/Memory Parity Error / The system has halted, followed by the well-known oxoooooo8E

Lately I had made another scan for a virus HAXDOOR , nothinng found.

Does anyone have any suggestion, I really need to figure out what is wrong, I am doing my best searching on web on threads, on microsoft whitout stopping for two days, but i really need an expert to help.
    Thank you

See: General troubleshooting for an error message that you may receive randomly in Windows XP: "Stop 0x0000008E "

    The other error you got
    Also point to hardware.

Hardware Malfunction Results in System Error Message
