Hello, I'm lost, I use to use T-bird for G-mail but am now trying to setup TB 3.01 for my comcast.net account (cooldep@comcast.net)
Any help or place for instructions that even I can figure out
    Thank you kindly,
    Paul

    Paul,
it took me some ten minutes to come up with anything useful. It appears that Comcast is one of those Microsoft-centric ISPs, who do not acknowledge the existence of other Mail programs. Try to get the info you want from their detailed description for Outlook Express .
Everything which goes into OE, goes in TB, perhaps slightly differently, but the info is the same. You want to put in the username, password, the type of mail server, which is POP3, and the ports used. Fortunately, I don't have Comcast, but even Cox which supports TB does not have many people who are competent with TB. I assure you that it is not difficult, if you make a direct comparison between OE and TB.

Thanks Westside, I know that I did get Comcast to work before on TB but now that I have Windows 7 I thought it may be different. I'll give it some more time and try to configure it. I'll let you & the Forum know how I do.
    Thank you again,,
    Paul

I don't think that the operating system would matter, but as I don't have Windows 7, I cannot say.
