I recently installed a Canon Pixma MP250 all in one printer. A day or so later I started getting error messaging when my computer starts up. The error reads 0x007b61442 or 0x00051442 referenced memory could not be written. Cancel to debug, or OK to terminate. If I click either, or just close out the box, another box popup say the system will shutdown in one minute. I looked on other forums that said it may be sasser ot blaster worm. I downloaded the fix from symantec for both. When they finished running both came up clean. Another say turn off auto updated then manually update Windows. Tried it, but error message still popup. I uninstalled the printer. Any help will be welcomed.

Your first error code is incorrect (0x007) please verify and post in your next reply.

Try this, when your computer restarts tap away at the F8 key after you hear the first beep, a menu should appear select Last Known Good Configuration and let us know if that works.

EDIT: Ignore what's in red, it's been a long day :(

Can you do a system restore to a point before you installed the driver?
