We have two PCs connected by a Netgear cable network, both running Windows 98; one is an older computer with 120 MHz with 80 RAM, on which I erased the McAffee virus software because it seemed to over load the CPU; the other is a 450 MHz CPU with 258 RAM and McAffee installed. Can I run McAffee virus scan of the 120 MHz one over my network?

Try to 'MAP' the drive(s) to make it a drive on the pc w/ Anti-virus then tell antivirus to scan that 'drive'.
