I get the following message when trying to install a small
*.reg program: "Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator ".
I am logged on as administrator (the only logon on this computer).
How do I remove this error or install the program ?
    TIA Ramjet

Thanks Kimsland..I did know about the "run a Administrator" and right clicking..Your blog helped as I had malware that was giving me the problem. BTW the "Heat" program does not have a .exe file
    in it..

If you are speaking of 'Disk Heal' the download is here: http://www.computer-realm.net/go/diskheal/ (preferred link, for latest download)
Or alternatively you can use the current direct download here: http://www.computer-realm.net/DiskHealSetupv1.48R.exe

Also thanks for the update :)

If you had Malware then you are best to get your computer seen to in the Malware and Virus Removal forum (just to be sure that its fully clean)
This may also help in any new faults that may still occur, due to malware infection possibly still present.
