In viewing several tech forums I see alot of threads regarding Sandboxie and so I am wondering what is good/bad about this?
Seems like another layer of protection?

Thanks Pete for the link as I hadn't seen the introduction just their threads and problems. So I didn't know if this is something I should look into.
That's why I am here at BBS with the best tech's.

    Pete,
Is WOT a program somewhat similar to Sandboxie? WOT lets you know ahead of time of the site you about to open where Sandboxie boxes it after you have opened it.
Or am I totally wrong and should take another memory pill?

I think you're on the right track there, but would rather not give a definitive answer as it's outside my experience - use neither of those apps.

I'm sure that one of our malware analysts will drop in with a view :)

So what is you security sytem look like and how do keep from getting hit?
    What apps. do you use?
I don't open mail from strangers, I go to trusted sites only, and make sure AV and spywares apps are updated on a daily basis.
This is my last comment unless someone from malware jumps in.
    Thanks Pete

I am not currently a malware analyst, I got behind on the malware so I retired myself from it.
It would be a very good idea to run your internet browsers with Sandboxie.
I have Sandboxie installed, and rather like it. It can be useful for several things besides prevention of malware.
For one, say you want to watch a Quicktime video, but do not want Quicktime actually installed on your system. You would run the installation executable Sandboxed, and to all appearances to Quicktime itself it is completely installed. Not only does Sandboxie controls where the files are installed to, a fake Windows registry is also created.
You would, of course, need to remember that since nothing is actually installed, you would need to go into the Sandboxie folders and then run the executable using Sandboxie.
Sandboxie can be very useful for tracking what is created by malware, and what is done by it. If you run Regedit.Exe (Windows Registry Editor) Sandboxed, you can view the entries made into the fake registry.

Thanks for all your input. I have Sandboxie running with IE just like you do and when I scan with Superspyware it picks up 3-5 bugs a day and puts them into the box.
