I am running XP Prof. Much of the third party software I have installed does not give me the option to limit its use to myself only (administrator). In these cases entries also appear in my daughter's Start Menu and shortcuts are generated on her Desktop.
I can remove the shortcuts from her Desktop but I am unable to remove their entries from only HER Start Menu (XP wants to delete them from all user's Start Menus).

Anyone out there who can help me?

    Thanks

The shortcuts are in the folder called:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

You need to move them from ALL USERS to YOUR start menu folder.
