In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties > Taskbar > Notification area > Customize..., for numerous notifications the names do not match the icons. This is not a critical problem, only an annoyance, since the icons do represent the correct functions.

    This?

Back up your registry and/or Create a Restore Point to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

Click Start > Run > Regedit

    Navigate to
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify

Delete the IconStreams and PastIconsStream values.
(This means right click on IconStreams > Delete > Yes,
right click on PastIconStream > Delete > Yes)

    Close Registry.

Open Task Manager, (right-click on an empty part of the task bar
and select Task Manager, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Shift+Esc)

click Processes tab, click Explorer.exe, then click End Process.

Still in Task Manager, click File, click New Task, type explorer
then click OK, Reboot for good measure.

Notification Area - Remove Past Icons from List

    Hi Guys...

I took the easy route and followed FlatIron2's suggestion of the automated fix. It worked great. It also introduced me to Windows XP Solution Center and Fix it. For that I thank you again, FlatIron2.
