    HP Presario CQ5115uk
    Windows 7 Home Edition.
    Epson S21 Stylus Colour printer.

Downloading Knowledge Base sheets etc, the size of print (6) is much too small to read with my eye sight (very good), still requiring a very strong magnifying glass. To be able to read these printed sheets, I would say print (8 or 10) for an easier read.
Can any reader of this Forum, suggest as to how print size can be increased to enable a more readable page.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion.
Yesterday, it was required for me to download current version driver software for my Epson S21 printer, as another problem was present with ink levels.
Downloaded S21 driver plus manual has been installed and appears to be working satisfactory. Currently installed S21 driver, includes Epson Status Monitor 3 - this certainly has several useful help procedures.
Could you please, suggest as to how I can increase size of print. I have never been able to find this option.

What is printed is what is shown on the document you are printing from
Unless you are squeezing the print to fit on one page only
This text must be in size "6" originally, I suspect you must be using the "Print" button (if exists) on the online Knowledge Base sheets?

You may need to open the document in your Word program and adjust the size first
Or you could use the percentage increase of the document and print that.

If you do a test print I suppose that prints without issue?

    I hope this helps :)

Yes you are absolutely correct in that I click on the Print Document shown on any specific page. I am not at all familiar, with transferring contents of Knowledge Base contents to a Word processor. Thank you.

Here is Firefox browser (of which I recommend to use) tutorial on printing web based documents: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Printing+a+web+page

You will notice that under >> Changing the page setup you can increase the percentage of the size of the page :)

Note: I was going to provide information on Word and importing etc. But then it occurred to me that the web based documents could be in any format (including PDF) So instead of trying to get through converters and Office etc, I thought the "Browser" print tutorial, would be best :)

Thank you Kimsland for information that you have provided, most appreciated.
Changing the browser Explorer to Firefox, will require me to carefully think it over. My HP computer for some reason, is most reluctant to changes especially under Windows 7, as previous changes produced chaos and at one point required a reset to factory settings.

Actually Internet Explorer has similar File > Print and Page setup settings
Its just that Firefox had an excellent tutorial and couldn't find the Internet Explorer tutorial immediately.
You could just go through the File menu (press Tab key to view this if hidden) and confirm similar settings.

I do need to log off, so I will be back later and reply if you have again.
I hope that some of the info has helped and will allow you to see a larger font size when printing. :)

Am I correct in IE, changing the percentage does that increase the print
size or just decreases the printed area on blank sheet?
Apparently, it looks that people are quite happy to read the pages in what
I think is print size 6 or as you have said using Firefox and making changes,
certainly no comments I have read, asking the help question that have raised.

You know, I would probably just say give it a go (on one page) and see what prints exactly.

Well if they're happy then it saves you ink (its a win win, far as I'm concerned)
Actually generally these days everything is on digital (CD or some other media) not paper (ie save the trees :D )
Maybe they could receive it via webpage or email or disc, and they could print it however they like ;)

You mean no comments given to you on this? I'm not sure what you mean.

Anyway, how do you feel about all that :)

Yes, very interesting reading and like the lady concerned, the Registry area is also now a no go area for me. I have, must admit in the past, erased some Registry entries for software previously removed, that proved to be trouble. Too many shared files and very hard indeed to distinguished which refers to what.
Again I stress, this is only my thoughts on this subject.

Future readers may find the solution of interest.

    Windows IE 8.

Display page(s) to be printed on screen> Click Printer Icon top tool bar> Select Preview> Click Shrink to fit> choose 100%> Click Printer icon> Click
    print.
