IE winXP [Prevent user changing proxy settings]

    Anybody can tell me...
    "How do i stop users to change proxy settings? ".

    You mean like using/creating a Limited User Account for them :)
    They can't change the Administrator proxy settings

    I wanted that user will not be allowed to change proxy settings for LAN. Limited account users can do this..

    The above would stop access to Admin (as I stated) account (obviously)

    Anyway, yes you can do this
    I did a quick search at Google and found the simplest method

    Note that Group Policy is only available in XP Pro.

    imamit76 if you have XP Home, I can help you backup the registry and add the key:

    Actually the above key is also only for XP Pro, as discussed at MS HERE

    But I did find (a slightly off topic) post HERE about still using these types registry keys in XP Home, which may still work anyway

    Lets just hope that you are speaking of XP Pro (and minimum SP2 at that)
