Resolved Email links not working in IE8

    I have just installed Windows 7 along with IE8. When I click on mailto: links I get the error message:

    'Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed'

    I am using Windows Live Mail.

    Any ideas on how to fix to get the links working?

    Internet Options > Programs tab > set default mail client.
