[Netscape Connect will not load in] windows vista

    recently purchased a new comp. that had windows vista on it. when i put the cd in for netscape connect, it would not load. i want netscape connect for a server, does anyone know what the problem is and how i would fix it.

    Are you sure that Netscape Connect is compatible with Vista?

    What error messages are posted when you try to install?

    Have you tried installing as Administrator?

    You may be best served initially in the Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey forum, which includes Netscape and I have moved your thread there.

    I had never heard of Netscape Connect, and AOL which maintained Netscape stopped support nearly two years ago. I did find this link about NS connect and Old Walmart Connect. It may be of help.
    Doing a Search for Netscape Connect and Walmart Connect brings up a number of hits, all related to problems with Vista, but not with XP or Win7.
