[Windows dvd maker opens when trying to open attachment in Windows Mail]

    hello i have a small problem can anyone tell me why when i open an attachment in windows mail , windows dvd maker comes up and i cant get into the attachment. I did do some dvd making but obviously i hit a button i shouldnt have help

    What types of "file types" are the attachemnts? Are they word DOCS or JPEG picture files?

    If you save the attachment to your desktop will they open when clicked on?
