Resolved Default Screensavers

I have a collection of screensavers and I have been trying to tidy up and simplify my display properties view.
To that end I want to remove the default windows screensavers which are just cluttering the place up.
I checked a few places via google and it seems the normal method is to delete the relevant files in System32 and then remove them from the dllcache in the same folder.
However,neither the screensavers or the dllcache folder appear in System32 or anywhere else for that matter, even though I have set my folder option so that hidden files are displayed.
This isn't, obviously, a question of space saving; just aesthetics! So please don't anyone bust a gut over this. Mind you from what I can see I'm not the only one looking for this solution.

PS I have viewed to post by Fmed on 6/11/09 and clearly he was able to resolve the matter since the *scr files were in System32.

 

In Folder Options, make sure "Hide protected operating system files" is also unchecked.

For some reason, Windows believes those screensavers are "necessary for Windows to operate properly" so they are considered worthy of protection.
