My downloads stops at 99%

    All my downloads stops att 99%. This just started recently. What could the problem be? I am stomped.

    it's quite normal for a pause at the end of a download so that the file can be scanned by your anti virus that's installed

    Hi bipjekco, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    What version of Internet Explorer are you running? If its IE7 or IE8 then try running IE with no add-ons to see if its an add-on thats causing the downloads to stop at 99%. To start IE with no add-ons click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Internet Explorer (No-Addons). Can you download files fully now?

    You should probably start by deleting IE's Temporary Internet Files.
