Outlook Express can't send emails

    All of a sudden, I can't send emails. Well I should say a couple have trickled through to myself testing but not much else. Error say STMP error but I have checked my setting ( not that I touched them in the first place) and they apprear OK. Verizon tech help is useless. I can't seem to connect to them in gotoassist screen sharing. It says it is connected, but they cannot view my screen. I need to send email...any ideas what is wrong??

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

    Your account details may have become corrupted .....

    Create a new account via Tools > Accounts > Add > Mail and follow the wizard through using the same parameters as in your current account - test.

    In the meantime you can send email via web mail in your ISP?

    Can't send emails from Express

    The error message is
    Your STMP server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond? Server: outgoing.verizon.net

    I have pushed the wait button many many times and keep getting the same error response.

    Here is the continuing error response I recieve after awhile.
