    firefox and spybot, spyware blaster?

The rogue, Spyware Blaster, should not be confused with the legit program SpywareBlaster.

I am not sure what the problem is from your comment. There is a program SpywareBlaster from JavaCool; it is a legit, respected program that prevents spyware from getting into the system. It is passive protection. There is a rogue program spelled Spyware Blaster; note that the rogue program separates the words 'Spyware' and 'blaster.' If you don't pay the ten dollars for autoupdate a year you have to manually update SpywareBlaster. It protects Internet Explorer, and the other browsers with the Trident engine, and K-Meleon, Flock, SeaMonkey, and Firefox. You update SpywareBlaster and that is all you do, the protection is set. BUT you have to always open it and download new protection and set it manually, unless, as I said, you pay the ten dollars a year for the autoupdate. I do and whenever I open it it is protection always set. mn

    In Firefox:
Go to Tools > Options > Privacy tab
If you run firefox in private browsing:
Uncheck Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session and then
Further down the same screen you'll see Clear History when Firefox closes click on the Settings button
    Uncheck site preferences
    Click OK
    Click OK again

    Re-enable SpywareBlaster protection for firefox
    Re-immunize with Spybot
