I used "Office Binder" in windows 2000 but find it is not available in XP Pro. Is there an alternative solution for "Binding" similiar files or folders together in XP Pro?

Binder doesn't install by default in Office 2000 but it's still on the CD and can be installed. Perhaps the same is true of Office XP. Have you tried "Custom Install" on the Office XP CD and looked for Binder?

I am amazed! I found the solution to your problem...which I copied and pasted from PC Magazine's site:

To install Binder on a system with Office XP, insert the Office 97 or 2000 CD. If Setup doesn't start automatically, open Windows Explorer. With Office 97, navigate to the CD's Autorun folder and double-click on Autorun.exe. With Office 2000, navigate to the root directory of the CD and double-click on Setup.exe. In both cases, follow the instructions on-screen.

For Office 97, make sure you choose Install Microsoft Office. When you reach the step that lets you choose the type of installation, select Custom. When given the choice of what to install, remove the checks from every check box except the one labeled Microsoft Binder, then continue with the installation.

For Office 2000, when you reach the screen that lets you choose the type of installation, pick Customize. When you reach the Selecting Features screen, you should see a list of first-level choices under Microsoft Office. Open the drop-down list for each item and choose Not Available. Then click on the plus sign next to Office Tools and look for Microsoft Binder. Open the drop-down list for Microsoft Binder and choose Run From My Computer, then continue with the installation.

Whichever version of Binder you're using, you should now update Office XP to make sure all the Registry entries conform to its requirements. Go to the Control Panel, choose Add/Remove Programs (or the equivalent for your version of Windows), select the entry for Office XP, and click the Add/Remove button (or the equivalent). When Office XP setup loads, choose the Repair Office option, click the Next button, and select Detect and Repair Errors in my Office Installation. Check the Restore My Start Menu Shortcuts check box, and choose Install. Follow the instructions on-screen to finish the installation.
