OK, I have my new PSU sat waiting for the new case to arrive. But I've just noticed, which wasn't advertised, that it only has 2 SATA connectors and I need 4 - but it has 4 IDE-style connectors. Is there a way to change the IDE connectors to the SATA connectors by taking something off my current PSU, or would I have to buy some cables?

I had actually searched it after I posted, having come to a similar conclusion. However, I still wanted to find a free method of making things happen. I've found said cable and now need for it to be ordered - though we're trying to work out if there's already been some cables altered to run one of the HDDs on the current PSU or not. xD

What rip-offs those are. I can get the adaptor for £1.54 and no shipping costs. :p

Instead of converting your IDE power connectors, why don't you just split your SATA power connectors with a splitter? In that way, since there are still billions of IDE drives around, just in case you need to power one, you are still good to go. That's what I would do.

This SATA Y-Adapter is particularly nice because it has 90° connectors, which makes for a tidier interior.

This thread is now useless as we've found two molex to SATA power connectors anyway. New PSU fitted to the old case, as the motherboard isn't ATX, or any convetion (Dell eh?).

It is not useless at all. Other readers looking for similar solutions will find several options - that's a good thing.
