xp pro with sp1

how do i make my copy of xp pro with sp1 intagreated bootable? as to where i can install it from a black HD?

that is the way i learned how to slipstream sp1 into xp pro, the problem i had was that my copy of xp pro didnt' have a "bootable cd" folder. i tried to use my copy of xp home ed but it didnt' work..............any other ideas?

 

From what I understand (Haven't really tried it, just reading) you have to create that folder by extracting the .IMG file from your original disk.

The administrator of this site was instrumental in developing the first procedure outline, so perhaps he'll chime in with some help.

thx for info............see the thing is the copy of xp pro i used wasn't bootable to begin with.............my home ed was but maybe i just did somthing wrong.........ima go over it again and see what happens..........thx again.
