    Win:XP Reboots

PROBLEM FOUND: well of all the dumb things it turns out the MODEM was the problem!!! The modem did work perfect and XP installed the driver for it right away and NEVER indicated a problem with it or the need for a updated driver. None of the XP logs that I looked at showed any kind of problem either. Took the modem out and bingo windows shut down the way it is supposed to.. Dennis.....................

Glad you got it sorted out, and thanks for letting us know.

Another example of XP's unyielding attitude toward hardware ;)
