    G'Day "Cesariono "

In the interest of expediting this issue and a fix for it, I would recommend the following steps and options.

Please read ALL of this post before you do anything !!

You have basically 2 options, 1. use the steps to repair the current errors, or 2. Start from scratch and do a fresh installation of XP Home or better Pro if you can, and load the Chipset and other drivers correctly.

The main issue in your installation is the fact that you did not run / install the chipset for the motherboard to communicate with the OS to recognize the different devices, hence they are not recognized or visible to you or the Device Manager. The steps outlined will automatically correct these issues (?) in the Device Manger.

    Option1.
Step 1. Run the chipset i.e, the "setup.exe" file from the "Chipset_Sis_6.14.10.3790_WinXPx86x64" folder you extracted.

This will load the required drivers for the Motherboard to be able to communicate the devices of the board to the OS (Operating system)

Note that I believe that the Graphic drivers for the display (screen and Video) is included in this and it should load the SIS driver. When I say it should, I could be wrong , however it will not matter if it does not. It will irrespectively load the default VGA display drivers if it does not load the SIS display drivers.

During the re-boot and when the XP desktop comes up, your display will most likely look very large, i.e. can be at 640x480 resolution, making the display of icons etc., very large. allow the boot sequence to complete and do nothing else at this time, i.e. do not attempt to load any other driver setup's until we have resolved the display. If Windows Hardware attempts to load anything other than the standard VGA or SIS drivers, CANCEL them, as we will load / install them from the downloaded drivers.

Step2. Now open the Display Manager and you should have a "Display adapters" entry showing the display drivers in use.
If there is one, then get out of the Device manager and adjust your display settings by right mouse clicking in an empty space on the desktop -> click on Properties -> click on the Settings tab - and adjust your resolution to, recommend 1024x 768, and the Color Quality to Highest (32bit)
If there is no display driver listed, stop and communicate this to me via this topic post, otherwise continue !

If step 2 is established, continue.

Step 3. Now install, load each of the next 3 drivers individually and rebooting before you install the next of the 3.

Step 3a. Install the Audio, using the "setup.exe" from the "Audio_Realtek_v.5.10.0.5436_XPx86" folder, obviously follow the instructions and re-boot when prompted and if not, re-boot anyway.

Step 3b. After the re-boot, check the Device Manager to ensure that the LAN "Network Adapter" is the SIS, if it is not, update the driver from the SIS entry and point it to the "AS_M1610_SIS_Lan_Driver_V2.0.1039.1070_XP" folder so it can pickup the correct drivers for the Motherboard RJ45 network connector.
    Re-boot!

Step 3c. If you are using the Modem, use the Device Manger again to check under the Modem entry and update the drivers by pointing to the "Modem_Pronets_6.10.05" folder for the correct drivers.
    Re-Boot!

Step 4. Re-check your parameters in the Device Manager and check if any (?) or other errors remain. If they do, delete them i.e. un-install them and Reboot. This will yield (display) any device drivers that need to be loaded or corrected, and it should do this by itself i.e. automatically. If not, point the installation to the driver folder it requests or needs.

Option2. Starting from scratch is cleaner.

Step1. Re-install the Operating System XP Pro preferred
    - A New Installation from formated NTFS HDD partition.
    Step 2. Install the chipset.
    Step 3. Install the LAN
    Step 4. Install the Audio
    Step 5. Install the Modem.
All using the instructions outlined in Option 1.

Step 6. Run the Windows Update, will need several runs to update all patches and security corrections as well as fix other issues in Software and Hardware.
Recommend that you never use Automatic Updates as it only installs critical updates and does not address software and Hardware updates. I use "Custom" at all times and install the "Microsoft Update" option and still use Custom to install all OS and Microsoft software updates.

NB: I do not install any off Site utilities like the Live-Office - they must be kidding to think I would keep my confidential documents on their site, password protected or not.

OK, you can do this by yourself. Need any more help, just post it.

OMG! IT WORKED! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I have to admit, the reason why I was determined to do all this was because I wanted to play Maplestory, it's an MMORPG and I knew what was stopping me from playing was the driver issues but that single driver (the SIS VGA one) resolved ALL issues 8D
I go into device manager and there's a "Display Adapter ", I go into Direct X Diagnostics and I have Direct 3D and such, honestly, installing that single driver resolved all the problems.
I mean, yeah there's still a final driver problem about my LAN but I'll leave that for another time as the computer's only going to be used by my 6 year old sister who doesn't really need it and the thing runs the games I want it to so yeah, everything's good 8D
Although... I guess I'm still curious how do I install the LAN? And the Modem? The only, somewhat usable file in those folders which I extracted are these Security Catalog files o_O

What part of the instructions outlined in Steps 3, don't you understand ?

    A. If the specific driver item is listed by name under the device header item it should be working.

    B. If it is listed as a (?) or (!) fault but is identified by name, then open it, right mouse click on the item and click on Update Driver, once there, select "No not this time" then click Next, in this window select the second item "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" in this window you will find a Browse button to be able to point to the Folder containing the files and drivers we need (some are OS specific so choose the correct folder or sub folder) do this now, once the path is in the "Include this location in the search" un-tick the "Search removable media ...." and then click Next, this should then load (install) the correct driver for the device.
NB: there are other option methods to do this, however this one will do the job.

    C. If the device is not listed, then it is a matter of going through the "Add Hardware" method to install the device.

I trust you did install the correct Audio drivers ?

Ahhhh, the audio drivers are installed and working correctly and I shall attempt to do as you said as there is a driver specifically named but has a (?) mark. I guess not all drivers come with installers xD

As you say, "I guess not all drivers come with installers" yet they do in different formats, but not all with setup type executables.

BTW: Acer confirmed that the SIS display drivers for XP Home are included in the Chipset setup. and that the seperate ATI and nVidia drivers are provided if you have installed or the system with this Motherboard was sold with these Graphic (Video) Cards. So you can delete them or retain them should you ever do so.

OK, please mark this "Resolved" if we have solved this issue, Thanks.
