Wireless NOT working on Lenovo notebook

    Hello,
    I can not get the wireless internet to work on my Father-in-law's Lenovo notebook computer. The OS is Windows XP Pro Series 3. I did notice today that the wireless radio kepted on getting turned off for some reason.

    Now, I do have any wireless internet at my home so I am very limited of what I know about wireless.

    What series is your notebook ?

    Do you mean that you do not have any wireless at your home ?

    Hi David. Have you gone into the labtops BIOS and checked to make sure that the computers wireless card is enabled?

    Do you have a wireless router?

    Do you have the proper drivers installed for the wireless card to work?

    yes, he has a wireless router, I think it is Dell. It use to work before. I will have to check to see what series the notebook is.
