Resolved Forgotten password

I have a Local Area Network using an Actiontec 54Mbs Dsl Gateway, a laptop running Vista and a desktop running Xp. Both can access the Internet. When I attempt to connect wireless with my Ipod Touch 3G it asks for the password. I have forgotten the password. How can i recover or reset the password?

Are you trying to access the Internet on your Ipod through you Wireless provider or
trying to access the internet thru a wireless router hooked to your Desktop ?

 

through a wireless router hooked to my laptop

 

Then what it is looking for is the Name(SID): and Passphrase you set up for the security
options on the wireless router.
