All patches, etc. Mom's computer OE6 keeps adding my email address and one other to the list automatically. The only common denominator is both these addresses start with "a ". I know that inbox, etc can get corrupted within OE. Is that a possibilty with the blocked senders list? Or should I look elsewhere? Searched all of MS site, no joy.

Have already tried the repair feature..

Has she maybe added the domains from which these mails originate to the Blocked Senders List?

Well, how interesting. Your post describes exactly what my friend has been going through. Both my address and her daughter's addresses had been blocked by...? Neither of us share the same ISP or even the same letters in our names. Don't know if your Mom's computer came with I.E. and O.E.6 but my friend had updated her I.E. & O.E. 5.5 to 6 and that is when her problems began. She also had trouble with her computer "dialing up on it's own" and she couldn't view photos within emails." Here is what we did to correct all. We reverted back to I.E. & O.E 5.5. Problems still existed so after first trying to repair the I.E. which didn't work, we downloaded and reinstalled I.E.5.5sp2. This took care of the "dial up by itself problem ". We then did a regedit and found both addresses which had been blocked and we deleted the registry key for each name. Here is the key we used: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Identities\{41B8DFC0-5CD6-11D6-B737-FCDB8C41D133}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
    Express\5.0\Block Senders\Mail\Criteria
We then had to reset all HTML settings in Outlook Express but now we think we have the problems solved. We firmly believe the problem stemmed from I.E. & O.E. version 6, now I am convinced.

Strange indeed. Try deleting this key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Block Senders

(GUID will vary according to the account in question)

    and then reboot.

Took Brett's suggestion. Been sending test emails, so far so good. Thanks.
