Ok, I couldn't find an "export" button in FileFind but I double clicked the atapi.sys that was found in i386 folder and the text file came up:

    C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\atapi.sys - 95360 Bytes
    C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\atapi.sys - 96512 Bytes
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\atapi.sys - 148768 Bytes
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\atapi.sys - 148768 Bytes
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\ReinstallBackups\0009\DriverFiles\i386\atapi.sys - 95360 Bytes

    Hi
    OK, Please do this.

    Go to
    C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

Right click on the atapi.sys file and click on copy.

    Now go here.
    c:\windows\system32\drivers

Right click on the atapi.sys file and click rename.
    Reneme it to atapi.sys.old
Now in a open space on that page right click and click on Paste

    Please repeat this in the
    c:\windows\system32\dllcache Folder

Reboot your computer and see if you are still redirected.

Hi Geri. Sorry, I'm currently out of town.

I was able to copy atapi to the i386 folder but for some reason I couldn't locate dllcache folder. I did a mass search including hidden files and I couldn't find it. Is it still ok?

    Happy holidays btw!

    Hi
Please read my post again You were to put a copy into the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder and the c:\windows\system32\dllcache Folder.

Is that where you put the copy?
