How is it possible to get information about the total size of emails in a (sub)folder in Thunderbird 3.0 ?
I am using the option "All Folders ", but also using "Smart Folders" that information seems to be missing.
In Thunderbird 2 that information was displayed together with the number of emails in that (sub)folder.
    Thanks,

    Ed Veling

I have been testing 3.0 since day 1, and found that "simplification" very irritating. I wanted to send a feedback to the developers, and, in order to receive an answer, it was necessary to login. I had my username, but have no clue which was the password. This is the third day that I am, sort of, waiting for instructions on how to reset the password, to arrive.
I will have to compare the TB 2.0.x and 3.x prefs.js, and see if there is anything that can be added, but there is no simple way to get done what we want.
I will let you know if I find anything.

I saw your post, after mine. I could not open the link with Firefox3.5.5, but, instantly, using IE Tab or IE8. I downloaded the addon, which was not compatible with 3.0. I modified the install.rdf file, but then what? The addon is not changed, and what is the install.rdf file supposed to do?

I had tried that link, and the addon is incompatible (good up to 3.0b4). I tried to follow the directions shown earlier, and modified the install.rdf file produced by unzipping the .xpi file. The directions are far from comprehensible.
I did that. Install what? Unzipping the .xpi file produces one folder and two files. Should one zip back the files? The original .xpi .file does not change, when the install.rdf file is modified.

Westside, I forced the installation of the add-on with nightly tester tools and everything is working perfect.
