I have just upgraded Vista to W7 and have Avast and Malware loaded. Should I add Zone Alarm and Spybot? and if so will that cover all my bases? Any suggestions are welcome.

thanks this is a great site.

Was there a reason you didn't have zone alarm installed with Vista? Or is there a reason you feel you need more security?

    Are you behind a router?

I did not have Zone Alarm on Vista. The PC is only 30 days old and the Vista was installed and then W7 was sent as an upgrade. Now I want to make sure I have the protection I need.

I will add ZA. Do you recommend any other programs for security?

    thanks,

    Hi
Some advise, Stay away from any P2P file sharing programs...
    Limewire
    uTorrent
    BitTorrent
Or any of the others out there. You will become infected sooner or later.

Yea, it is more about your behavior than anything else.
