Resolved New IE8 won't lock in full screen size

    I just upgraded from IE7 to IE8 and I notice that all windows open about half size. I tried the old IE7 tricks, ie manually drag edges to full screen and then while holding the Cntl key down, click on the X in right top corner to close.

    But that doesn't work in IE8. What's the trick?

    Use, as I do and have done for years, IE New Window Maximiser - works perfectly every time :) - even on 7 with 8.

    Thanks, I'll give it a try but I still can't believe that this feature is no longer available in IE8!

    In my IE8 I don't need any special tricks. I drag it to the size I want and it remembers that.

    I removed IE8 and reloaded it. Now it works fine.
