net meeting no microphone

    i have win xp and the audigy soundcard. When I run the audio set up in net meeting iget a message that net meeting could not detect a microphone, however the mike is working because i can hear my voice thro the speakers. I cant find any settings which are disabled. Any ideas?

    the microphone worked when I plugged it into the socket on the card at the back of the computer. It didnt work when I had it plugged into the breakout box. However I was still getting sound thro the speakers?

    hi
    i have had a problem with messenger and voice calls so i have re run the audio wizard and that has sorted me out
    so it may be worth a try
